Its very hard to set up a gaming rig/gaming pc on an affordable budget. If you have no knowledge about what computer and computer components are, then there will be 99% chance of getting fooled. And it’s so sad when your computer is not producing the results according to the budget. And moreover everyone out there have this thought that building a gaming rig will cost some million bucks. Well, the cost can only be calculated according your requirements. Here I am giving some of my suggestion for setting up your gaming rig under affordable prices.
Main process in setting up a gaming rig is selecting the processor. Selecting an Intel processor would be costly, so go for an AMD processor. AMD processor’s are cheaper compared to Intel. Intel CPU’s are meant for extreme CPU works and AMD is good for budget gaming. The next step is selecting the monitor. I would suggest a 21.5 inch BENQ G2222HDL, this one would cost around $130 in market. Cabinet which I prefer is CM ELITE 430, this would cost around $70. But unfortunately with Benq monitors you won’t be able to play 3D games.

Affordable Gaming Rig Under $700
Processor which I would suggest is AMD Athlon II X-64. If you want to stick with an Intel Processor then go for Intel core i3 2100. Mother board which I suggest are MSI 880GM-E35 this one is for an AMD processor, It would cost around $75 in market. Most important component for a gaming rig is GPU. Best GPU for gaming rig under $700 would be MSI R6850 1GB Cyclone PE – 9500, it would cost around Rs $160. Next important component is RAM, I would like to go for 4GB Corsair 1333mhz one. Suitable power supply should have 450 W. While assembling a desktop, one should be aware of the Hard disk size available on the market. I would like to prefer Seagate 1TB, this hard disk would satisfy your gaming needs. When it comes to DVD Writer. I would like to go for LG DVD RW, which would cost around $20.
