Search engine giant Google is gonna introduce a whole new concept in the field of technology by launching their most anticipated Google Glass. Google Glass is practically so powerful that you could record videos or take pictures without using your hands. To earn yourself a chance to get a Google Glass, you would have to write a Google Plus or Twitter post with the hash tag #ifihadglass and it shouldn’t exceed 50 words and applicants should explain “what they would do with the glasses”. Applicants have time until 27th of February. Google’s judges will pick the winners, who can attend the event in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles, where Google will accept their $1,500 and will hand over the glasses!

Google Glass has the power to do unbelievable things, right from language translation to looking up walking directions, which is remarkable. It’s like a computer which you wear on your face and it looks a tad bit like eyeglasses. Google Glass can access the Internet through your Wi-Fi or even Bluetooth linked to a wireless service on your mobile phone. Users can activate their glass by speaking, touching the frame or even by moving their heads. This amazing device will run Android OS and will also include a glass in front of your eye which would have motion sensors and either 3G or 4G data connection. The world is excited about this awesome invention by Google, the public release would be done only by 2014 at the earliest a point at which anyone could buy the Google Glass.

Although the official release is only in 2014, developers can get their hands on this unique device at some point in 2013, they would get the explorer edition. We are still not sure of how or where you can buy the glass, it would be available online most probably or it might even be featured in the new Google Store, Google might just open actual shops to showcase their brilliant invention.
